With the job market changing and being very competitive, many parents are concerned about how best to support their son or daughter at different stages of their school careers.

With schools facing budgetary pressures, not all pupils have access to independent and impartial careers advice. It is important for both pupils and parents to understand what options are available to them at key stages of their school careers.

This one-hour session will give you some tips and techniques to help your son or daughter start planning their career both at school and beyond.

Come along to this FREE workshop with your son or daughter to learn how to navigate a way through what can be a difficult and confusing process.

This workshop will cover:

An introduction to career planning for young people
How do young people start to research different careers?
What happens if my son or daughter has no ideas?
What options does my son or daughter have at different stages i.e. year 9, year 11 and year 13?
What can I do as a parent / carer to help with my son / daughter with their career steps?

Young people aged 18 and under Must be accompanied by an adult.
